Fleas:For the safety and health of your dog, we do NOT accept dogs with fleas. It is your responsibility to have your dog on a preventative for fleas and ticks. If fleas are found while your fur baby is in our care, we will call you to come pick your baby up promptly to avoid further exposure to other clients.
Cancellations/No-Shows:We have a strict 24-hour notice. If you do NOT cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your grooming time, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of 100% of the groom price. You get a reminder 48 hours in advance of your appointment, so please give us early notice so we can try to fill that appointment. No-Shows are the same as a late cancellation. You will be charged 100% of the grooming price. We are a very busy salon and do our best to keep up, so please be courteous and give us ample notice to get you rescheduled and someone in your spot.
Pick Up:For us to keep a calm environment for your dog, we require you to promptly pick your baby up after notification has been sent that your dog is ready. Help us keep your babies happy, and don’t leave them with us too long. Most dogs don’t want to sit in a crate for long periods of time. If you are in a later time slot for your groom, please understand that we close at 5pm. We will notify you when your baby is ready, so please do NOT SHOW UP before notification has been made. We usually take a few hours to complete each groom, so some of the later time slots may not be completed until after 5pm, though we will send notification as soon as your baby is ready. If your dog is ready, he/she must be picked up within an hour of completion unless otherwise discussed with your groomer. If you are a later timeslot, we ask that you be available to pick up within 15 minutes of completion, and we will make sure to give you a heads up 15 minutes before they are ready for later appointments. At the time of drop-off, we can give you a time window of when they may be ready so you can schedule accordingly. We appreciate your compliance with this, as we do have families that also count on us to be home by certain times.
Vaccinations:Your dog must be vaccinated to be in the building. We are required by law that every dog have its rabies. All other vaccines are recommended but not required. Please note that if you have a puppy, it must have all rounds of shots, or it is not fully covered and it is not safe for it to be in the building. Once all rounds are administered, we can take your puppy in for its first groom.
Health Concerns:Please note you must disclose all health issues that pertain to your pet so that we can make accommodations at scheduling to allot for the right amount of time to complete their groom in a safe and stress-free way. This will also help us to make accommodations throughout their groom to make it a great experience for your baby. If there are any concerns or issues regarding your pet's grooming experience, they must be brought to our staff’s attention within 24 hours of grooming.
Behavioral Issues/Aggressive Behavior:For the safety of your dog and our staff. If your dog becomes aggressive with another dog or any of our groomers, you will be asked to come pick up your dog, and the groom will be ended. If you are aware that your dog has had issues during past grooming experiences, we ask that you be forthcoming and notify your groomer so we can best adjust our grooming technique for your baby. If for any reason your baby becomes too stressed, we will end grooming and notify you to come pick up your baby.
Walking Your Baby:We are located on a busy road; therefore, we will only take your baby out if extremely necessary. It is your responsibility to make sure your dog had ample opportunity to relieve itself before its grooming session. This is a policy we have in place to ensure your dog’s safety while in our care. We like to keep them safe and secured in the building.
Leashes:Your dog must always be on a leash from exiting your vehicle to hand off with one of our employees. Including when being carried into the building and walked in the parking lot. They are required by law, and we just want to make sure you have control of your dog to avoid any possible mishaps.
